Laser Game
Dark silhouettes coming forth from the mist shrouded arena and disappearing again into the swirling amalgam of bright colors. Scrieching of joints under pressure, metal plates rattling under stomping heavy boots. The world rumbling with heavy bass music. Music akin to the voices of mob calling for blood so many centuries ago, in the walls of the great Colosseum.
But times have changed since Emperors like Caligula or Marcus Aurelius ruled supreme over vast plains of the Roman Empire. Times have changed since the white sand of the arena was turning red with blood of those swept by the madness of warfare and conquest. There is no place for cold steel in the hands of today's gladiators. It was replaced with something worthy of today's technical progress. There is no place for death in the colosseum of today. It was replaced with something worth so much more.
It was replaced with... fun!
As its name suggests, Laser Game is a real-life combat simulation game. Each player is equipped with a special weapon called Phaser. Phaser shoots laser beams and also contains sensors able to recognize incoming hits. Laser Game, also known as Laser Tag, is similar to airsoft or paintball, while having one huge advantage over them – being hit with a laser doesn't hurt. After your opponent successfully hits your weapon, your weapon becomes inactive for a short period of time, after passing of which you can once again resume the battle.
